Safe Search AI uses Google Gemini's four safety categories under the hood: harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit, and dangerous content. Each Family mode applies a tuned preset of thresholds, with Kids mode being the strictest.

You don't have to configure anything — pick a Family mode and the right safety profile applies automatically.

Companion is warm and chatty, Coach is structured and goal-oriented, Performer is playful and witty. Switch from settings; Foxie remembers per browser. Kids mode locks Companion.

Off by default. When on, Foxie sends the page title, your selected text, and a short excerpt with each question — nothing else. Kids mode forces this off.

Workspaces are folders for grouping conversations, generated stories, and notes. Sign in, then visit /workspaces to create one (e.g. "Year 4 homework", "Bedtime stories").

Threads are saved chats with a buddy. Once you're signed in, every Foxie conversation is auto-saved — open the Threads drawer in the floating buddy to resume any past chat.

Homework mode is a Socratic tutor: visit /homework or type /homework math in any buddy chat. Foxie asks guiding questions instead of giving answers.

From the Library, use the "Move to…" picker on any story card to file it under a workspace.

Tiny notes Foxie keeps per website (e.g. "I'm learning Spanish here"). Stored locally only, never synced. Clear individually or all at once from settings.

Optional 4-digit PIN. When set, switching Family mode requires it. Soft lock — see the parents guide for what it does and doesn't cover.

Forgot it? Clear Foxie's data in your browser to reset (this also clears notes and settings).
